Budweiser is a Grand Prix Showjumper and FEI Dressage competitor. He competed in Germany under Gilbert Bockmann and in the USA under Damian Gardner and Steffan Peters.
Budweiser has a performance pedigree with the 5 top European stallions in a row; Burggraaf keur, Voltaire keur pref, Ahorn Z (v. Alme), Landgraf I, and Roman. Sire Burggraaf and dam's sire Voltaire are the two most popular stallions for show jumper breeders in the Netherlands. Both stallions obtained high rankings in the World Breeding rankings and produce Grand Prix winners consistently. Burggraaf’s Jumping Index is at 168 with a reliability of 92% and Voltaire’s Jumping Index is 161 with a reliability of 94%. For sport horse breeding the combination of Burggraaf and Voltaire has proven to be an excellent combination. In the fourth generation of Budweiser’s pedigree, we find Reizvolle, which is a full sister to the international jumper Lovely Boy of Norbert Kook. Budweiser completed the 100 day performance test with a score of 126.20 points for jumping and herewith became third. For his character he scored a perfect 10. He scored 9 in Free Jumping, Temperament & Ability to Work.
He has over thirty premium rated foals for the Oldenburg Verband. All have been good types with excellent movement and he now has two licensed sons. Budweiser has a sensational temperament which he passes onto his progeny.
Budweiser has now commenced his eventing career, campaigned by Emma Mason and has won his first start ridden by Stuart Tinney.
