Champion of France for 5-year-olds, Ekano DKS (Kannan-Cumano) was the first foal produced in France by Dejan Krunic Sporthorses. He was sold to Richard Levallois of Haras de Semilly, and has been in training there since 2014. He is Kannan out of Kumana DKS (Cumano-Cento), a crossing that we have grown to love because of the superior and smart horses it produces.  

In 2017,  Ekano DKS was presented at the Selle Français Stallion Qualification Selection in Saint-Lô and placed 7th out of 96 entries. In October 2017, Ekano DKS placed 9th at the Final Selle-Français Stallion Selection and became the second approved stallion to be produced by Dejan Krunic Sporthorses.

In 2019, Ekano DKS became the Champion of France at Fontainebleau for 5-year-olds, with three clear rounds, ridden by Alexis Gourdin. We are so thrilled for everyone at Haras du Couvains, M. Gourdin, and for Ekano DKS!
